fanboys

you all know what fanboys are right? these people that are so devoted to a single film or group of films? and it's not just that they really really like some movie alot... it's that this movie is the BEST EVER and it will KICK THE CRAP OUT OF [insert another fanboy movie here] it just gets really retarded. of course I am referring to star wars at the moment, but it is definately not the only one that suffers from this level of fan "devotion"... I shudder to think about 2003 when TWO matrix movies will come out. and then there will be the two towers in xmas 2003... so there's that fight between lord of the rings and matrix I can already see being formed. it's not as if a person can like one movie whilst ALSO liking another equally or indifferently well. it HAS to be one or the other... if you like star wars you must hate star trek... if you like the matrix you must hate star wars... if you like lord of the rings you must be stupid because it isnt star wars... moronic... oh well... actually, it's been my experience that star trek fans arent as militant when it comes to that sort of thing. I mean sure they are way up there on the geek quotient, the dressing up and the convention whatnots... but they wont sit there and yell at you because you arent dressed as mr. spock or some such shit. and it's not because there hasnt been a really good star trek film in a while... (personally I like both new ones very much) because remember... star wars really sucks ass and look at the type of fanatical devotion it inspires. it's that star trek fans are just inherently cooler than those fucks that like that piece of shit starwars STAR TREK RULES!!!! STAR WARS SUCKS!!!!
oh, sorry

Well as somebody once said: ''Star Wars is only a TOS ripoff.''I have several evidence for this claim.
1.TOS aired on 08.09.1966[My birthday+10 years]and George ''Can't make a original script''Lucas stole our show and took out all the cool stuff and some assholes liked it...

To end this....I must say STAR TREK RULES,STAR WARS SMELLS LIKE A SEPTIC POOL

Yes, Star Trek was well conceived and executed; Gene paid a great deal of attention to detail and continuity (which is more than i can say for Pillar and Berman). But he did not invent space opera. Both ST and SW sit squarely on the shoulders of many decades of film, radio, and print.

I happen to enjoy both, as well numerous other universes, both on and off the big and little screens. Read some.

I heartily agree, that the pathological "the stuff you like sucks" fans make fools of themselves.
